The Make It Tea blog is currently served using Pure Blog by Kevin Quirk.

Pure Blog uses PHP to serve blog posts written and stored in markdown. All posts and pages are simply individual plain-text files - there is no SQL database etc.

The site is hosted on a Virtual Private Server provided by Fasthosts running Ubuntu Linux, using Apache2 and PHP.

From time to time the site might use webfonts for a consistent appearance, at the expense of extra network traffic when first loading. At other times there may be no webfonts and the appearance will be entirely dependent to the font selection of the viewer's browser - fonts will be specified simply as "sans-serif" and "monospace" and the choice of specific font left the the browser.
