Dear John

It's not long now until your campervan holiday!

This letter is just to tell you a little about what to expect when you arrive…

  1. Please remember that all named drivers must be present for the

handover and training on the vehicle, this takes about 30-40 minutes

  1. All named drivers must show their plastic driving licences to us at the

handover, a copy will be held on file while you are on holiday

  1. You are welcome to leave your car with us for the duration in our

secure parking area, at your own risk

  1. *For dog friendly hires, please keep your dog on a lead at all times

during your visit to Counting Sheep Campers*

  1. If you have selected Meet and Greet at Berwick-upon-Tweed train

station, please take a taxi on your arrival there to our base and we will pay the taxi driver. Your handover and training will take place here.

  1. Pack light and use soft bags if possible, these will be easier to stow

in the vehicle than hard suitcases.

  1. If you are travelling in July and August, please remember this is a

very busy season so it is advisable to reserve campsites and book ferries before you travel to avoid disappointment. If you are planning to camp with a permit in the Trossachs National Park (Loch Lomond), you will need to book in advance for this as it is very popular.

  1. For more information on Planning your Holiday and How It Works, please

follow this links: https://www.countingsheepcampers.com/plan-your-holiday/ and https://www.countingsheepcampers.com/how-it-works/

We are looking forward to meeting you on the 8th May 2022.

Hello Ann

Yes I'd love to go ahead and book these dates. Can you let me know the procedure? I can give card number by phone or do an online bank transfer, whichever suit you best.

Thanks

Hi. We are hoping to stay with you for 6 nights between 9th and 15th May and would like to confirm the booking. We're travelling in a hired VW campervan, coming from Shetland to collect the van in Berwick upon Tweed and then driving to Norfolk for the week with our two dogs. I believe we are entitled to Camping and Caravan Club membership with the van hire. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards John

ARRIVAL DETAILS AND INFORMATION RE YOUR BOOKING FOR CAMPING AT SHRUBLANDS FARM.

When you arrive please call at Shrublands Farm House first (NR27 0AA) which is just passed the Foundry Arms Pub on the left.  Park by my gate and walk round to the back of the house to see me. This is because the site is quarter of a mile from the Farmhouse. Payment, preferably by card, can be made at this time.

All pitches with electric hook up are allocated by number on arrival.

All dogs must be exercised off the site and kept on a lead at other times.

Our toilets and showers will be open and we shall clean them at regular intervals, but we would ask for your mindfulness in this matter. Unaccompanied children are not allowed in the toilets and showers.

We allow BBQs, but they must be raised off the ground (bricks available). We do allow the use of fire pits but they must be used with a mesh cover. During the time of a severe drought we may curtail the use of naked flames due to the proximity of cereal crops.

Check in time is from 1pm to 6pm. (8pm on Fridays). Please do not arrive early. No arrivals after dark. We would be pleased if you could leave the site before 12 noon on the day of your departure.

We hope you have an enjoyable stay and many thanks for your cooperation.
